Masia Casanova is "gay only" during the summer months and straight-friendly from October until May.

Built in 1842. Once a beautiful wine farm. Today a luxurious guesthouse spectacularly situated against a mountainside in the middle of the Penedès wine region.

The Masia radiates the rustic and restful ambiance of yesteryear. However, within its walls are all the comforts and luxuries you're looking for. The Masia has seven large suites - each one, charmingly different in it's own quirky way. Every room has a safe, mini-bar, TV and DVD. So you can bring your own music and movies or borrow from our library. Stop by the WiFi internet zone if you wish to stay in touch or the chill-out zones, if you don't.

During the day relax by the pool and at night, let off steam with a Turkish bath, sauna or Jacuzzi.

Whatever your mood, a truly different holiday experience awaits you.

Facilities
The accommodation includes a full breakfast, served from 9.30am until 12:00pm. Yet our service goes beyond that of the standard bed and breakfast. For those of you who enjoy "staying at home" alongside the swimming pool there are also drinks and light food available at a friendly price. And if you're still hungry for more, we offer a 3 course dinner in the evening. When making a booking, please let us know if you wish to dine with us on the evening of your arrival.

When the sun starts to set, it's the perfect time to relax in the outside hot Jacuzzi, overlooking the mountains with a glass of Cava. Or if you prefer the Turkish steam room and dry Sauna are on daily from 6pm to 8pm, but we are more than happy to switch it on early for those who can't wait. And if you feel like staying in and watching a movie, then we have over 50 films in our library for you to choose from at no charge.

We also offer a shuttle service to and from Sitges town a couple of times a day and we are always ready with information about the area and its beaches, restaurants, night-life and numerous sight-seeing possibilities. For this we also work with a car rental service .

Rooms
There are seven rooms at La Masia Casanova, three inside the Masia itself and four bungalows with private terraces and all have spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

All rooms have en-suites, mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, TV and DVD.

For the romantics amongst you, our premier room has it's own fireplace and two person bathtub.

All four of the bungalows have air-conditioning and their own large private terrace with outdoor shower. And all the rooms are beautifully finished and unique in their own quirky way.

One of the bungalow rooms has it's own kitchen that you can request if you are planning to stay a week or more. There is a surcharge of €10 per night for use of the kitchen.

Things to Do
La Masia Casanova is situated next to the Garraf National Park, which is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. The area also boasts several vineyards and wineries with many offering tours and wine tasting. Just 10 minutes, is the bustling social and beach life of Sitges and 15 minutes from a well-established 18-hole golf course.

South of Sitges is the historic city of Tarragona with its Roman amphitheatre and PortAventura with it's rollercoasters, rides and Aquatic Park. Travel west and visit Montserrat's Benedictine sanctuary with its famous Black Madonna. To the north, Medieval Gerona and Dali's Museum in Figueres. Not forgetting Barcelona one of the hippest cities in Spain, which is only 30mins away by train.
