 Rey Carlos, gay & lesbian friendly hotel located in the centre of Playa del Inglés, close to the Maspalomas dunes, 300 metres away from the promenade and approximately 700 metres from the beach, very near to Cita & Yumbo shopping centres, a chemist's, bus stops, a taxi rank, supermarkets, restaurants and gay clubs, all within a 100 metre radius. The Rey Carlos Hotel is a building consisting of 5 storeys and a first floor with 160 large SUITES. It was built in 1974, although it has been recently renovated. 24-hour reception, arrival and waiting room, TV room with satellite TV, indoor bar with satellite TV, terrace bar, pool bar, large and comfortable restaurant with a no-smoking area, swimming pool and children's pool (heated in winter from November to March), reading room.
Swimming Pool: Two, one for adults and the other for children, heated in winter (from November to March), surrounded by a wide sunbathing area with sun-beds and parasols.
"Wieldemann" Health Center: With indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, physiotherapy, massage, acupuncture, rejuvenating cures, Chinese traditional medicine, beauty treatments, etc.
Rey Carlos Restaurant: Hot and cold buffet for breakfast and dinner. Half board consists of breakfast and dinner. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers and a long or short sleeved shirt for dinner.
Robinson Bar: Located on an island in the swimming pool, it has a range of drinks and snacks for the guest to choose from.
"La Reina" Bar: Located inside the Hotel, it also has satellite TV.
"Las Lanzas" BAR: In the garden, with a covered terrace, where the guests can enjoy a wide range of shows and spectacles.
"Noble" Room: The guests can relax in the room's comfortable armchairs. Located next to the "La Reina" bar.
Television Room: Small and comfortable room with satellite TV and card tables.
