The Eugenia Victoria is a typical, large Spanish holiday hotel. So, if you're looking for something especially gay in the heart of the scene, look away now.

However, if what you're after is decent three star quality, loads of space and a broad range of facilities, the Eugenia Victoria might well be up your alley.

The Hotel Eugenia Victoria offers a host of facilities and attractions, including a swimming pool with free sunloungers, a buffet restaurant, two outdoor Jacuzzis, a poolside bar, a piano bar, another outdoor bar and a traditional pub.

There's also an indoor Jacuzzi and a beauty salon, as well as a tennis court, squash court, gym, snooker/pool tables and bowling alley, with most of these facilities charged for locally. There's a 'wellness centre' offering opportunities for some serious pampering, including an osmosis pool, sauna, massage and something called a Cleopatra bath. And if you feel like updating your gaydar profile with a few convincing lies (size, wealth, age - you know what we mean) then there's an 'Internet Corner' located close to reception.

General Facilities
First up, there's a really good sized swimming pool with loads of room for sunbathing. There are two outdoor Jacuzzis, a poolside bar, a piano bar (that's where you can take your piano for a night out), another outdoor bar and a traditional pub. The hotel's restaurant is buffet style.

An indoor Jacuzzi brings the whirlpool count up to three, a beauty salon provides the opportunity to spend money on yourself, and when you can be bothered to move you can take advantage of the tennis court, squash court, bowling alley or the gym. A wellness centre, as is the fashion these days, allows you the pleasure of an osmosis pool, sauna, massage or a Cleopatra bath.

Internet access is available close to reception, and reception, while we’re on the subject, is open 24 hours a day and, more importantly, rents out safety deposit boxes.

Room facilities
The rooms at the Eugenia Victoria are far larger than you'd expect from an average three star hotel, and you'll be accommodated in a twin room with a separate lounge area, which we think is rather good. Every room has an ensuite bathroom, its own balcony and a TV, radio and phone. Maid service is daily, with towels changed three times a week and bedlinen twice.
