 This huge three star favourite is one of Playa del Ingles' archetypal holiday hotels. Pretty straight, to be honest, but still welcoming to those of us of a homosexual persuasion, there's a huge range of facilities to inspire and delight you.
The gay & lesbian friendly Buenaventura Hotel is located about 20 minutes' walk from the Yumbo centre & gay bars and round about 900 metres from the beach. If this seems a little far...think again: there's a courtesy bus which runs at regular intervals between the hotel and the beach.
The recently refurbished Ifa Hotel Buenaventura is one of those properties ideally suited to those of you looking for a reasonably priced half board & all-inclusive option with a huge range of facilities. In fact, there are probably more facilties in this one hotel than there are in several small African countries.
General Facilities
Extensive, to say the least - two swimming pools, three whirlpools, a buffet restaurant, a snack bar, a TV lounge, six bars, table tennis, four floodlit tennis courts, a basketball court, a gym, volleyball, internet access, a café, a scuba diving school and regular entertainment.
All this full on stuff may not be for everyone, but if you like your holiday to be action-packed with loads to do, the Buenaventura is not going to disappoint.
Blimey, all that stuff would be wasted on us but we're pretty sure that those of you who occasionally like to get up off your bottoms and actually do something are boud to appreciate this amazing choice of activities.
Room facilities
Considering that the Buenaventura is a three star hotel, the rooms here are surprisingly large and comfortable, with air conditioning, twin beds and satellite TV. All of them have an ensuite bathroom and a balcony, and maids will come and clean five days a week.
