 Stunningly located on the Puerto de la Cruz's promenade overlooking the sea & lido, and just a couple of minutes walk from the gay bars the gay & lesbian friendly Valle Mar Hotel is a great choice if you want to treat yourself a little.
This hotel, which opened in the second half of the last Century, is one of the most emblematic hotels in Puerto de la Cruz. It's located on the seafront passage of Puerto de la Cruz on Tenerife, directly in front of the ocean and next to the famous pool complex known as "Lago Martianez", with its Casino.
A modern hotel, the Valle Mar has a slightly 'classic' Spanish 4-star hotel feel to it: from the attentive service of the staff to the spacious, comfortable (with air-conditioning or heating depending on the time of year!) modern rooms complete with dark wood fixtures & fittings and carpeted floors. The Valle Mar has rooms with great sea views, standard rooms which face out towards the rear of the hotel and also several good disabled/wheelchair friendly rooms on the ground floor (no sea view, alas, but most have their own little garden area).
