 Hotel Amistad is truly the most popular gay hotel in Amsterdam and has been 'the place to stay for the gay traveler' for many years. Right in the old center of Amsterdam, within walking distance of all the gay bars, clubs, shops, museums and sauna's.
We just finished a complete renovation, adding comfortable new rooms with private facilities, putting double glazing in the frontroom windows and restyling all the rooms in new fresh colours. Further we added broadband-fast speed internet cables and pc's in every room.
Breakfast is included in your roomrate and available till 1 p.m. in our typical dutch kitchen-breakfast room. After that we open our internet cafe for those who want to surf the net in company of other travelers.

To get here from the airport:
• by taxi approximately 35 euros
• by train approximately 4 euro: take the train to Amsterdam Central Station (leaves every 10 - 15 min.). From Central Station take tram number 1 , 2 or 5 to Prinsengracht-stop. Get off tram and walk back 25 yards along the tram line. We are on the left next to the REPLAY-clothing store: on Kerkstraat 42.

Amistad Rooms
The Amistad Hotel offers 3 types of comfortable rooms:
• Deluxe rooms with marble bathroom (soaking tub/shower/toilet).
• Ensuite rooms with private shower and toilet.
• Standard rooms with private sink but shared shower and toilet.
Our rooms have a double bed or twin beds, all single rooms have a double bed. Please specify in your booking request if you need twins beds in your room.
All Amistad rooms are equiped with a PC and and Free internet connection!

Amistad Apartments
Amistad Apartments offers various types of apartments all within the gay centre of Amsterdam. The apartments range from a luxurious studio apartment to a grand penthouse apartment. Prices range from € 100 to € 300 per night. Also available are weekly rates. The apartments are all self catering: therefore breakfast in the hotel is not included in the prices. Payments for accomodations outside the hotel must be paid in cash at checkin.
If you stay longer than 4 nights weekly cleaning is included and can be arranged at your convienience. Daily cleaning service is also available at € 25 per night.

Large one bedroom penthouse located one block from the Amistad Hotel. Large luxury bathroom with soaking tub & shower. Separate WC (toilet). Fully furnished Kitchen, TV, DVD player, ADSL Internet connection. There is also a nice south facing sun terrace with views to south Amsterdam and the Rijks Museum.

Studio apartment (Prinsengracht)
This modern and charming souterain apartment is two blocks from the Amistad hotel.
It's a studio apartment with seperate bathroom with large tub/shower and toilet.
The kitchen is small but fully equipped.
The rest of the room is fully-furnished with double bed and small sitting area.
Also Color tv (cabel), dvd player, sterio set, personal save.
Please note that smoking is not allowed in this apartment.

Trendy one bedroom Apartment

A one bedroom apartment in the Reguliersdwarsstraat (Amsterdams gayest street!). One bedroom, large livingroom/dining area, fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bath (tub/shower/sink & toilet).
